This is Julie Felix’s biggest tour in 20 years and ties in with the release of her long awaited Bob Dylan tribute album - a double CD featuring 20 of Dylan’s most ambitious compositions.
Julie will be singing original material as well as songs from the new CD, all delivered in her own unique style which mixes passion with humour, ensuring an entertaining evening for all ages.
Julie Félix was a major television and recording star in Britain in the 1960s and 70s. She carried a message of integrity in her songs as she joined a folk movement that included Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Tom Paxton.
From her early days as the resident singer on The Frost Report through to the present day, Julie Félix has sustained wide popularity, her music ignoring all barriers.
An evening with Julie Félix is an evening of many musical moods, enhanced not only by her rich voice but also by her powerful songwriting. A writer of great depth, Julie performs her original material alongside songs by such writers as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
