To mark its first two successful years, Blip, Brighton-based generative arts forum, is holding The Big Blip, a free event with invited speakers and performers and an exhibition of generative art. The event is being produced by Blip, in association with the University of Brighton, the University of Sussex, members of a proposed SIGGRAPH chapter, the Arts Council England, Cafe Scientifique, and Lighthouse Media Centre.
The Big Blip will be based on the successful format of the monthly Blip meetings where invited scientists and artists present their work through discussion or performance, together with more informal opportunities for anyone to show and discuss work in progress.
