Claire MacDonald is a writer, curator and editor with research interests in the interface between visuality, textuality and performance. She is currently Director of the InterArts program in the department of Art and Visual Technology at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, USA, where she teaches interdisciplinary performance and writing. She is a Founding Editor of the journal Performance Research, a Contributing Editor to Performing Arts Journal, and co-director of Nomads, an online curatorial organisation and publication working with new media and time-based art.
