Ali Bangoura of Batafon Arts brings 2 of his workshops to Brighton as part of the Fringe Festival. With one session of percussion and one of dance, participants can learn the rhythms and stories of Guinea Conakry, West Africa. 2 inspiring sessions open to beginners and experienced. Own instruments welcomed.
Ali trained in Guinea Conakry and was a member of the national troupe of Guinea – Les Ballets Africaine. In UK he is now established as a performer and workshop facilitator to schools and community groups.
