Mugenkyo is the first and only professional touring taiko drum group in Europe. Since their establishment in 1994, their reputation has grown and they are now widely acclaimed as Europe’s foremost Taiko drum ensemble. Having learned the ancient Taiko techniques from top masters in Japan, Mugenkyo bring the art form into the 21st Century, infuse it with youthful vigorous spirit and diverse musical influences, and present it in a splendidly theatrical display of grace, choreography and athleticism.
