Artist Amy Cunningham lectures in music and visual art at the University of Brighton. She works with a range of media – performance, voice, photography, installation and drawing – to establish dialogues between time, technology, representation and landscape. She created "Phantom Keyboard", a sculpture with recorded sound, which was shown as part of the ‘Trackers’ group exhibition at Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery in Ealing earlier this year. Last June, Cunningham created ‘Ah-ah: A Game for the Garden’, an installation and performance in the grounds of West Dean College, West Sussex. She is also curator of not-tv.org, for whom she created a performance Delayed Dreaming for voice and 1 tonne capacity refuse bags, and live web cast relay. She is currently making work in response to footage of early electronic and mechanical musical instruments.
