Professor and Research Coordinator of Performance Arts at The Nottingham Trent University, UK in which capacity he also directs the Performance Arts Digital Research Unit and the Live Art Archives (comprising the National Review of Live Art Video Archive, the Live Art Archives database, Digital Performance Archive and minor collections). He is a frequent contributor to national/international performance arts research conferences and has worked closely with the performance artist Stelarc on recent projects. He is currently co-authoring a book for The M.I.T. Press entitled "Digital Performance: New Technologies in Theatre, Dance and Performance Art" for publication 2004/5
