'The Miller and McAfee Press is dedicated to collaborative practice and actively seeks to work with diverse groups in the production of artwork. We believe it is through opening up debate that a truly collaborative practice is formed. Through discourse all parties within this debate play an active role in the definition and production of the artwork. It is in this way that The Miller and McAfee Press seeks to open up the possibilities of art practice and approaches to discourse, furthering the role of art in our society.' www.themmpress.com
The Monday Lectures are a series of weekly presentations by contemporary artists who work across disciplines. This is an opportunity to hear artists talk about the history of their practice and show examples of their work. The lecture series is coordinated as a part of the Sallis Benney Public Lecture Programme in collaboration with the Visual and Performing Arts Academic Programmes in the School of Arts and Communication.
