Kora Festival

A celebration of the wonderful sounds of the West African Kora, showcased by seven of the best masters of the instrument in the UK.

Join us on a soul journey that spans the mountains of Tibet, the streets of Pakistan, the villages of West Africa and Bengal, and our own beautiful South Downs.

This year's festival features the amazing Tibetan Buddhist Monks of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery; BBC World Music Award winner and Sufi minstrel Sain Zahoor; environmental arts group Red Earth, with their new installation on the South Downs entitled CHALK; a special West African Kora Night; and Taste of Tagore, a celebration of the great poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore in the year of his 150th anniversary.
