Acclaimed film director and Dharma School parent, Nigel Cole, will take part in a Q & A session following a special screening of his recent film, All in Good Time, a comedy about British Asian family life. Cole previously directed Saving Grace, Calendar Girls and Made in Dagenham.
The film is “a touching, likeable comedy” said The Observer and Cole is “a film-maker with an unpatronising affection for provincial and suburban life.”
All in Good Time (12A) runs to 93 minutes and has not yet been on general release in Brighton.
Cole said: “I’m happy to support Brighton’s Dharma Primary School, the only primary school in the UK to offer an education based on Buddhist values. All profits from this special fundraising screening of All in Good Time will go directly towards supporting the school’s work and aims.”
The Dharma Primary School is an independent school open to children aged 3-11 from all religious faiths and cultural backgrounds, providing a quality academic education combined with Buddhist teachings to support the development of mindfulness, compassion and communal responsibility. As a small school with limited funds, we rely on the generosity of charitable benefactors and our own fundraising endeavours to support our work and aims.
