Brighton & Hove Women Against the Cuts (BHWAC) is a group of local women who have come together to take action against the coalition cuts. According to the Gender Audit of the Budget, women will bear the brunt of the austerity measures by nearly two thirds (Source: 2010, House of Commons Library). Cuts to women's jobs, benefits and support services are reversing equality.
A self-financing group, BHWAC urgently need funds to continue their work.
