RENT The Musical

'Rent' tells the story of a year in the life of a group of friends living the bohemian lifestyle in East Village, New York in the early nineties. Jonathan Larson's incredible and relentless score combined with his witty and insightful lyrics result in a show that cannot be missed, and that has played on 6 continents and 27 countires. 'Rent' tackles issues common to this community in the nineties, including HIV, homosexuality, poverty and identity. It is a thought provoking and powerful show, but it is first and foremost a life affirming experience that has changed the face of musical theatre forever.
