Jon Pratty (Arts Council England)
Jon Pratty is Relationship Manager, Digital and Creative Economies at Arts Council England. His role is to help arts organisations unlock the possibilities of digital culture, bring together creative partnerships and to assist them to find funding for new projects. Jon will talk about the funding that is available from the Arts Council, the wider funding landscape and what goes into a successful application.
Ben Hamilton (pleasefund.us): 'How to crowdfund your creative idea'
Ben Hamilton, Community Manager at PleaseFund.Us will give an introduction to crowdfunding, discussing this method of fundraising and exploring the dos, the don’ts, and the absolute musts. This is a 360, all-encompassing tour of crowdfunding, which will outline the basic steps, from start to finish, of how to crowdfund your creative idea.
