Sallis Benney Theatre
CityCamp 3 is a community event which brings together people from across the city to work on ideas about how to create a better future for everyone. It’s a free event, and we get people from every area of life along, including community groups, digital professionals, council employees and education professionals. Everyone is welcome! (It is a three day event and continues on Saturday 23rd at The Brighthelm Centre and Sunday 24th at Hove Town Hall.) More details can be found at http://ccbtn.demsoc.org/ '
The event is at different venues across Brighton and Hove:
We start at 2pm on Friday with 'Inform' at the Sallis Benney Theatre, kindly provided for us by the University of Brighton. There will be inspiring and informative speakers talking about the city and we will finish with a Speakers' Corner. (The agenda will be published on the website before the event.)
Saturday’s event is 'Discuss' and will start at 10am at the Brighthelm Centre on North Road. People propose ideas and topics for discussion through the day.
On Sunday is the 'Do' day and will be at Hove Town Hall, and starting at 10am. This is where we create and do some of the things we have been talking about.
All the venues have been checked for special access needs but if you have any special requirements, please let us know.
