Legendary rock impressario, pioneer of the global charity concert, former entertainment officer at Brighton Polytechnic and honorary doctor of arts of the University of Brighton, Harvey Goldsmith CBE will give a lecture entitled ‘Right place at the right time…a lesson in entrepreneurship’.
Harvey will share his own experiences and indeed advice for budding entrepreneurs, from inside and outside the university. Current students, alumni, staff, members of the business community and indeed pupils from local schools/colleges are very welcome to attend this free event. After his talk, Harvey will take questions from the audience.
Harvey was made an honorary doctor of arts by the University of Brighton in Summer 2012 and was also a former entertainments officer of Brighton Polytechnic. Harvey is most widely known for his substantial involvement in staging the Live Aid in 1985 and is recognised as the pioneer of global charity concerts.
