Creative worlds collide in the Art College in the run up to Christmas, bringing together an unusual mix of artwork and crafts for sale, exhibitions, displays and the Cinecity Film Festival all under one roof.
Discover a selection of fascinating, unique and intricate crafts designed and made by students from the University of Brighton's College of Arts and Humanities. As well as artworks and gifts for sale you can also visit the Cinecity ‘Berg’ exhibition. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication, artist/designer Anna Deamer and musician Barry Adamson present a film set for an imagined screen version of BERG, Ann Quin’s brilliant debut novel.
Also on show will be work from Fashion and Textiles MDes students, work in progress, covering a diverse range of subjects, materials, processes, and even a critique on the fashion industry itself. The exhibition will challenge the way textiles and fashion are created and perceived.
