A dozen or more competitors will be chosen at random and invited to step onstage and share their very short stories on the theme of Then/Now. The audience will be invited to show their loud appreciation for each story, but can they sway the judges…? A prize of a £100 Amazon voucher will be awarded to the winning story...
Rules: Timing is strict, so make sure you can read your story in three minutes (approx. 300 words). Stories must be on the theme of THEN/NOW.
Entrance £5 for participants and audience. Booking.
Not sure what to write? Why not come along to the ‘Short Story in a Day’ workshop for inspiration and to get some words down on the page? This event is running earlier in the day (10.30-3.30pm). Entrance to this workshop includes one free ticket for the evening Short Story Slam event.
