'Before the Flood’ is a powerful and informative documentary film about climate change. Directed by Fisher Stevens, the film features Leonardo DiCaprio as narrator, exploring the devastating impact of global warming by visiting different parts of the world. DiCaprio focuses much of his commentary on climate change denial, however the latter part of the film offers viewers some hope by investigating possible solutions to this crucial issue.

The film’s screening is free to students and is part of the University of Brighton’s Green Week, 13-17 March 2017, a programme of events encouraging students and staff to be proactive in cutting carbon and saving resources both within and outside of the university.
