A great creative community in an environment which is small enough to not be too daunting. Great teaching and opportunities within and external to the university.
Yes, if not exceeded. I am doing more and involved with more now then I thought I would be two years ago.
Learning the things that aren’t necessarily written into the syllabus but that I have learnt through tutors, study trips - particularly Milan Design Week 2011. Also outings, such as networking skills, exhibition set-up and organisation and generally ‘putting yourself out there’.
Experimentation; problem solving; thinking ahead; thinking in the present; thinking in the past; considering ideas; communicating with staff and peers over ideas.
"Planted"Don’t come knowing what you want to do - it will hold you back. Be free and experimental. It’s a lot of hard work.
Staying committed and hard working even when things are not going right and I have had many things on my mind.
Travel a bit; do design shows; get internships; be a designer?
