Renowned ecologist Dr Jacques Deere (Oxon) has investigated how organisms adapt and interact in different environments, from the sub-Antarctic extremes to Dutch tulip bulbs. Now he is applying this understanding of the factors that promote success to the modern researcher. Understanding your environment can be crucial to flourishing within it.
