V-and-A

Wayne Binitie, one of our new TECHNE Students, is involved in the V&A Friday late event this Friday 27th October.

The V&A event is in two parts, comprising a talk on the theme of water organized by CLOT magazine plus an outdoor sound, video and glass installation: Liquid, Solid and Gas in the Madejski Garden.

18.30 – 21.00      Liquid, Soild and Gas, The John Madejski Garden – Wayne Binitie

What are the environmental risks posed by the rapid disappearance of glacial water? Imagine if you could hear, see and feel the climatic atmosphere of the glacial past? Step into an immersive soundscape and installation which transforms field recordings made at the British Antarctic Survey ice core archive, to reveal the invisible glacial histories.
