Keep Going and Remain Motivated on the PhD Journey

    Week view

2nd Dec 2020 10:00am-11:00am

Email techne@rhul.ac.uk to sign up.

According to a study by The Council of Graduate Schools, 44% of doctoral students lose their motivation and do not complete their degree within 10 years. Maintaining your passion and motivation for your PhD is a real challenge - especially in the times that we find ourselves in where just keeping going is difficult enough.

This online session will explore strategies to help you re-ignite your PhD mojo and there will be opportunity to share ideas and experiences from others in the same boat.

This session is led by Dr Emma Brodzinski, who is a Senior Lecturer based at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is also a state registered therapist with a range of experience in adult mental health. She has developed a range of projects around student mental health – including ‘Breathing Space’ for Techne and the Phd Life Raft podcast.
