  • Finding Your Academic Voice

    20th Jan 2022 10:00am-12:00pm

    Online (Zoom)

This workshop explores the concept of 'voice' in academic writing and how confidence and courage are important to self-expression. We’ll identify the writerly techniques that create a ‘voice’ and consider the relationship between the writer’s voice and the reader’s experience.

  • Techne Conflux: Blame, History and Truth

    26th Jan 2022 2:00pm-6:30pm

    University of Surrey

When we consider our own actions as self-determined and autonomous agents, we see ourselves as responsible for our actions. By contrast, what we see as historical wrongs were often committed within principles of conduct seen as acceptable at the time. How do we reconcile these two perspectives?
