Coping with Crisis as a PhD Student

7th May 2020 2:00pm-3:00pm

Coping with Crisis as a PhD Student with Dr Emma Brodzinski

As a PhD student you may feel as though you have to cope with whatever comes at you - and now you have found yourself in the midst of a global pandemic…you may have found that this time has actually been a gift and that you have been extremely productive; or you may have been overwhelmed by the desire to stay in bed, read magazines and eat cheesy wotsits!

This online session is an opportunity to take a look more generally at dealing with unexpected events within the PhD process and encourage you to reflect on your own strengths and methods of coping. We will also attend to the particular situation that we find ourselves in and share experiences and strategies for getting through.

The session will be hosted on Zoom by Dr Emma Brodzinski, who runs the Techne Breathing Space wellbeing programme. Here is the link to join: https://zoom.us/j/2909229243

If you haven’t used zoom before you just need to download the app and then click the link at the time of the session.
