Deep Dive: Imposter Syndrome

Is there a critical voice on your shoulder telling you are not good enough?  That you don’t belong in academia?  That it is only a matter of time before you are found out? In this interactive webinar we will take a ‘deep dive’ into imposter syndrome.  We will explore research on this very common aspect of the doctoral experience, as well as having the opportunity to hear from others currently on the PhD journey. You will leave with insights into the genesis of negative self-talk and strategies to help you manage them.  While we may not be able to get rid of the internal critical chatter completely, we can work to turn the volume down!

Join Dr Emma Brodzinski for this webinar. Emma runs Techne's 'Breathing Space' wellbeing programme. She helps PhD researchers navigate their doctoral journey from managing issues such as imposter syndrome, perfectionism and difficult relationships with their supervisors; to maintaining motivation; and finding fulfilment and even enjoyment on their PhD journey.
