Understanding the Collaborative Landscape

27th Oct 2022 2:00pm-4:00pm

To attend this course please book on Inkpath. Inkpath is an app available to all Techne students, if you're not already using please click here to find out how to get started.

This first of five online workshops from The Culture Capital Exchange will introduce Techne students to the collaborative landscape, particularly the contexts of cross sector working, and what you should expect and be prepared for. It will also encourage you to think about your own unique situation via collaboration mapping, meaning that you will be aware of your own collaborative world going forward and how you might strengthen and utilise this in the best way. You will have the chance to share your own collaborative map with your peers, beginning an internal network to support each other throughout and beyond this training programme.

This workshop is designed for Techne students who are undertaking collaborative or practice-based work as part of their PhD research.

The Culture Capital Exchange (TCCE) is one of the country’s key Cultural Knowledge Exchange organisations. We have an established and extensive track record of work in supporting collaboration, partnerships, networks and engagements of various kinds between Higher Education and the arts and cultural sectors dating back to since our inception as LCACE in 2005.

TCCE will be running a series of five workshops throughout the 22/23 academic year. These will support collaborative or practice-based students from Techne to build partnerships and working relationships with the arts and cultural sectors. These workshops will enable students to focus on their career development, particularly with reference to working across sectors, and will feature expert speakers from across Higher Education and the arts and culture sectors.
