Embodied Practice Online Symposia: Jagada Rajappa

19th Jan 2023 11:30am-12:45pm

The Embodied Practice Group warmly invites you to an online conversation with master natural colour dyeing practitioner and teacher, Jagada Rajappa.

Joining us from Hyderabad in India, Jagada will share her life-long experience of teaching traditional dyeing techniques and the sensory and spiritual practice of natural colour dyeing with indigo, madder and other ancient dye plants.

Dyeing with natural materials involves diverse skills and abilities including technical knowledge but mainly, it draws on all the senses and a growing understanding of the language of colour.

The conversation will be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about embodied aspects of craft practices, relational approaches to plants and more specifically, ways of integrating the senses and intuition into the work we do.

Register here on Inkpath to receive the Zoom details.
