Pitching to Partners in the Cultural Sector: Why, what and how

4th Jun 2018 11:00am-1:00pm

Venue: 11 Bedford Square, London

There are many reasons why doctoral students in the Arts & Humanities want to collaborate with organisations in the cultural sector during and after their PhD. This session covers some of the context for doing so – including the agenda around research impact and public engagement. It examines what kinds of collaborations work and how to make them happen - from successful pitching to implementation and embedding partnerships over the longer-term - including tips from leading cultural institutions.

This two-hour, interactive workshop will be run by Dr Olivia Swift, Impact Manager for the Creative, Cultural and Heritage Sectors at Royal Holloway. Olivia is a maritime/economic anthropologist by training with a background in theatre, dance, publishing and journalism.
