How do we represent urban change and technological development in visual and textual form, historically and in the present? Join distinguished academics, V&A curators, and visual artists as they unpick how such narratives of progress have been – and continue to be – established through visual and textual representations.

Speakers will include: Historian of Technology David Edgerton, Architectural Historian Barbara Penner, Geographer Gillian Rose and Architect Liam Young,

In collaboration with The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Financially supported by the HERA Joint Research Programme (www.heranet.info)
