Discussing Theatre Criticism: Changing Landscapes by Duška Radosavljević
Over 5 evening sessions in Central London between May and July 2017
Alice Saville (Editor, Exeunt Magazine) and Megan Vaughan (PhD researcher, RHUL) will convene a reading group on Duška Radosavljević’s book Theatre Criticism: Changing Landscapes (Bloomsbury Methuen, 2016) for writers, critics, bloggers, theatremakers, students, researchers, and anyone with an interest in contemporary theatre and its criticism.
Over 5 evening sessions, we will consider some of the challenges (and opportunities) facing the critical community today by examining recent academic research. Each session will begin with some questions emerging from texts in the book, followed by open discussion and debate on sector issues and experiences.
