We are an informal and friendly community of postgraduates and researchers; all fascinated by Design History, Material Culture, Dress History and related studies. The group has been going since 2005 brought together by the University of Brighton’s international reputation in this field. Many of us, but not all, joined the group whilst studying on the MA in History of Design and Material Culture. We number about sixty including current and alumni students, local, national and international early career researchers and museum professionals.
