
A collection of both intimate and monumental art objects, interior designs and individual objects shows the best of the glass sculptures and glass work that has been made in the past ten years in this traditional Czech workshop under the artistic direction and management of Zdenek Lhotsky. The Lhotsky studio produces unique designs and works with artists and architects such as Lise Autogena, Karen La Monte, Howard Ben Tre, Peter Bremmer and others. Recently the studio has worked with Roger Hiors on his commissioned work for the new Home office building. The exhibition is curated by Dr. Sylva Petrova (University of Sunderland) and Jonathan Woodham (University of Brighton).
Among the exhibits will be works by Michal Gabriel, Hannah Kippax, Karen La Monte, Zdenek Lhotsky, Stanislav Libensky – Jaroslava Brychtova, Alena Matejkova, Anna Matouskova, Jiri Pliestik, Oldrich Pliva, Jaroslav Rona, Cestmir Suska, Brian Usher and Daniela Vokounova.
