Toby Miller has taught cultural, media, and gender studies at Universities in Australia, the US, and Britain, most recently at City University (London), University of California (Riverside), and New York University. He now holds posts at Cardiff University and in Western Australia.

Toby has written prolifically on globalization, film and media, sport and popular culture, and cultural policy. More recently he has been researching environmental/green issues and in this open lecture he will explore how our cultural landscapes are being affected by these issues and debates, with a focus upon museum and sporting sites.
