12th Jul 2017 2:30pm
The Keep, Wollards Way, Brighton, BN1 9BP
Carolyn Trant will discuss British women artists in this talk. Inspired by her forthcoming book Voyaging Out; British Women Artists 1910 – 1960, she will focus on those associated with Peggy Angus, whose archive is held at The Keep and whose friends often visited her Sussex home. Carolyn will also reflect on the growing interest in the lives of artists based outside the metropolis, and the wealth of information to be found in regional archives. A selection of material from the Peggy Angus archive will be on display on the day.
£3, payable on the door.
