Paul Sermon, Professor of Visual Communication at the University of Brighton will present the final outcomes from his recent 3x4 project at the ICA for the AHRC UnBox PopUp event.
The project uses an immersive telematic networked environment to provide a playful, sensorial exploration of new hybrids of digital space by merging two 3x4 metre room installations in Delhi and London through mixed-reality techniques. The project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council which is running a showcase of new, innovative and collaborative projects between UK and India that explore cultural futures at the intersection of design, art, research, technology and social innovation.
