How do we innovate in our communities and cultural contexts? Looking at different forms of innovation - private and public - this event offers an opportunity to hear top tips from those pioneering recent non-profit innovations on the south coast.
This interactive event is for anyone interested in not for profit initiatives to support growth and development in cultural and community along the south coast.
Speakers include:
Ruth Anslow, founder of the CIC hiSbe, Brighton’s new socially conscious supermarket, and architect of a successful BuzzBank Campaign.
Dave Boyle, Director of Saltdean Lido project, community enterprise expert and social innovator in community engagement.
Clive Bonny, advisor to the Beacon Hub Project and British Engineerium, two innovative social enterprises building on the ideas of Brighton's Victorian engineering pioneer Magnus Volks.
Simon Opie, CEO at Hastings Pier, which has raised £13.7 million for the restoration and continuation of this fabulous coastal icon.
Richard Robinson, Director of Brighton Science Festival, is through the power of partnership, building an interconnected future in science along the coast.
