The Youth Hostel Association (YHA) are looking for student volunteers to design, create and install several pieces of art for the new YHA Brighton.
It could be a painting, a sculpture or an installation. They have lots of spaces, big and bijoux, just waiting to be brought to life with your creation.
There are three Brightonesque themes you can interpret:
• Britannica (think seaside nostalgia or Regency decadence)
• Brighton’s art, music and festival scene
• Celebrating diversity
The YHA will be presenting this volunteering project and role on Tuesday 10 June 2014, 11:30am-12:30pm, in the Sallis Benney Theatre, Grand Parade.
This will be followed by one to one appointments, for applicants to meet the YHA panel and bring their ideas and portfolios for consideration.
