This online workshop is for doctoral candidates and early career researchers of Techne and other universities in art, photography, museum, business, law, design, economics and other arts, humanities and social science areas.

In this introductory workshop, the guest speakers will share their expertise in Blockchain technology and Artificial intelligence as a tool of disruptive thinking in the above mentioned research areas. The workshop will provide evidence about how art could apply digital technology to co-designing human behavioural traits, create trust in digital art, how blockchain based art can contribute to zero carbon targets, sustainable plastic art, saving museum data etc. with an interdisciplinary approach. Scarcity of advanced technology in social science is the main motivation behind the workshop.

Speakers include Prof James Aitken (University of Surrey), Prof Sergio de Cesare (University of Westminster), Dr Lucia Michielin (University of Edinburgh), Vito Ciciretti and Alberto Pallotta. Please click here to see more details about the speakers.
