One-to-one Careers Appointments

Confidential, one-to-one careers appointments with Darcey, our Techne dedicated Careers Consultant, are 30 minutes long and will be held online. You can discuss any aspect of career planning; for example:

  • developing a careers plan
  • making decisions about future career direction
  • advice on developing your CV
  • completing application forms
  • developing an online profile
  • approaching interviews (face to face, telephone, video etc.)
  • planning a strategy for a major career change
  • mock interviews (details about the opportunity as well as application will need to be provided in advance to make the role play as realistic as possible)

We will also answer email queries but we work part-time so response may not be immediate - please email Darcey Gillie with any queries.

One-to-one appointments will be available on the following dates (for Techne-funded students only). Registration links will be added for later dates nearer the time.

  • 20th July - BOOK HERE
  • 27th July - BOOK HERE

Please note that these appointments are only available for Techne students (with a limited number also open to Techne alumni). If you would like an appointment but can't make any of the days listed above, please get in touch and alternative appointments can usually be made.
