Author and presenter, Professor David Hendy talks about his book Noise: A Human History recently published by Profile Books.
Regular listeners to Radio 4 will no doubt have heard Hendy's discussion over a 30 part series, of the history of noise and its social implications supported by extracts from the British Library Sound Archive and Hendy's own recordings.
